If orthopedic surgery has been offered to you, before a surgical date is assigned, you need to proceed through several steps to ensure your surgery is performed as safely as possible.

 

Each patient and surgery are unique; the above timeline is an approximation based on the experience of many veterans. More complicated and potentially risker surgeries often require more pre-operative planning. In some cases, there may be significant delays for medical reasons, specialized instruments or implants, or because your doctors have concerns that must be addressed before moving forward.  Our priority is your health and safety.
